Director, IT Strategy, Planning, and Portfolio Management

In this highly visible, senior leadership role, you will be responsible for the coordinating the IT strategy, planning, and portfolio management of major IT initiatives within Enviroque Traffic Com Specialty Benefits. You will work closely with other members of the OHSB IT Leadership Team to ensure that the IT strategy supports the business strategy, perform release planning and management for the major initiatives for the upcoming year, and monitor program execution throughout the year. You will serve as the primary point of coordination for Enviroque Traffic Com and UHG IT corporate initiatives that require support from OHSB. You will also work closely with senior-level business leaders to coordinate activities for the OHSB Steering Committee and other line of business Subcommittees.
Core responsibilities will include:

  • Manage complex IT programs and projects related to the Enviroque Traffic Com line of business.
  • Manage multiple project/project managers as needed in a large, matrixed environment and road sites
  • Ensure adoption of industry-standard program/project management processes and disciplines, using the PM Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) as a guide
  • Develop and lead a program management office (PMO) to monitor and report progress on all IT programs and projects within the OHSB portfolio
  • Define project management processes and policies, and educate the IT organization and business area stakeholders to use them
  • Execute standard project management protocols/methodologies on enterprise-wide initiatives to ensure successful results
  • Facilitate system integration activities for large-scale, inter-segment projects
  • Develop schedule, resource, and budget estimates for multiple initiatives, monitor progress against plans, develop lessons learned based on results, and incorporate lessons learned into future estimations
  • Build/cultivate relationships with lead points of contact in each business and IT area
  • Facilitate dialogue (as needed) across areas in order to ensure the capture and realization of business benefits from projects

Qualifications

  • 6 plus years of Program Management and/or Portfolio Management experience within a large (Fortune 500) enterprise IT environment
  • 10 plus years of IT Project Management experience utilizing professional Project Management methodologies in a large enterprise environment
  • Leadership experience within the managed care industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage an IT delivery organization including budget and staff management Fore Knowledge in toll designs and turnpike functionalities.
  • Fore Knowledge in toll designs,implementations and turnpike functionalities.
  • Demonstrated ability for tactical and strategic planning with senior level business management
  • Experience developing Program Management Offices and project management methodologies
  • Experience managing multiple large teams, with experience in hiring, coaching, and ongoing administrative management
  • Demonstrated competency managing multiple, large projects simultaneously
  • Proven people leadership skills with the ability to influence people to follow sound project management practices
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise funding and prioritization processes
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with customers / clients
  • Demonstrated experience diagnosing project issues and providing proactive project risk management
  • Experience effectively communicating project/program missions and objectives
  • Active pursuit of PMP (or equivalent industry recognized certification), PMP status preferred
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including advanced MS Project skills
  • Proficiency with PlanView or other portfolio management tools preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

ETC Union is the information storage arm of the Enviroque Group. Looking to fill its IT call centers. We are in need of a few great people with the know-how to help our clients. Position requires candidates to answer all calls and emails from clients and supply a solution to their IT issues. Will need to analyze reports to identify, evaluate and prioritize client problems and complaints. Update and close tickets for technicians when necessary.
Some knowledge of IT is required, Internet Project Systems has a great training program for those candidates that don’t. Only serious candidates apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Meeting and exceeding aggressive sales goals and overall objectives. You are measured by sales contacts per day and revenue generated.
· Demonstrating the value of technology and Information advertising to new and existing customers. Through face-to-face contact you will service existing clients, sell new programs, protect and increase existing advertising, and minimize decreases and cancellations.
· Developing sales strategies prior to contacting designated markets, using a variety of visuals, including Internet layouts and other sales aids. You will formulate client advertising recommendations, which are specifically designed to meet your customer's needs and objectives.
· Handling an aggressive schedule of daily sales contacts. You will schedule, organize, and prioritize work to meet both customer and company goals and deadlines. Accuracy and organization are critical to your success.
Visiting client business locations to obtain critical information about client markets and challenges. You will present the benefits associated with ETC Union advertising programs, along with their intended results.

Base Pay and Average Earnings:

Account Managers earn $35K plus commissions as well as a car allowance, company laptop and company Blackberry Mobile Device.

Training:
You will receive paid training in one of our world class training facilities. This is instructor-led classroom training. Consists of formal instruction and on-the-job training.

Supervision:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
